I believe Washington’s best days are ahead. We have an unprecedented opportunity this year to change the direction of government. It’s my hope that we can seize that opportunity while it is available to us now so that we can create a better quality of life for us, our children and our grandchildren, by getting back to the ideals that made us great, such as limited government, balanced budgets, private property rights, personal control in health care, quality education, strong transportation infrastructure, a healthy economy that encourages job creation and growth, and the principle that government serves the people -- people do not serve the government.
